Atticus spoke low and slow. "The Em Games. The most adventurous and dangerous event the world has never known."

"Don't you mean ever known?" Calysta offered. 

"I mean never. Eight games, one for each ancestral house, with Firebreather split into two. The top finishers of the eight games go on to compete in the infamous Triad."

It's happening. What Maggie feared has come true. Princess Magdalene Prewitt of Firebreather is now Head of Emily Castle and has been made so by King Pippin of Brumbletide, no less. Now there is certainly no turning back!

Thankfully, Maggie's best friends, Calysta and Atticus, will be by her side and she also has the aid of King Mortimer McShanihan and the Boggletrice Company. But even with the help of her most trusted royals and Horsemen, she is still completely sick at the thought of ruling such a prestigious establishment at the young age of thirteen. 

To Maggie, life couldn't possibly be any more stressful... that is, until she learns about the Em Games, the most perilous event the world has never known. The time has come for Emily Castle to hold the Em Games again, and as luck would have it, as Head of Castle, clumsy, unathletic Maggie will be leading them. 

And through it all, the wicked King Michelle still lingers throughout the castle. Strange, since he's dead.
